The tank is shown above with pump trial fitted. The tank
is constructed from 3mm alloy sheet and has a capacity of 60 litres. The
pump is from a (Australian) Ford Falcon EG station wagon which is made
to operate at 35 PSI.
To make the volvo fuel gauge operate from the Ford sender
unit I had to move the pink wire (centre top) from the bottom of the circuit
board to the top, as while the gauge worked ok, it showed full when empty
and vise versa.
